Alpha Antenna merged their FMJ design with the U.S. Army AS-2259/GR specification to create this tactical wide-band emergency communications system. Operating across 1.8–34.0 MHz (160m–10m), the antenna stands 15.5 feet tall, has an approximate 68×68 ft footprint, and weighs just 5 pounds.
Features tuner-free operation, omni-directional DX and NVIS radiation patterns, setup time under 10 minutes, and both horizontal and vertical polarisation capability. Includes a telescopic aluminium tripod, auto-match tuner, seven-section telescopic element (9’4″), four 35-foot NVIS elements, and an 8-foot grounded counterpoise wire.
