One activity that is easy for people to do as long as you have access to an open space is playing frisbee. The game is simple. Have a frisbee disc.
Throw the frisbee to a recipient.
Try to get them to catch the frisbee in a way that is either easy or challenging.
Because the way a frisbee can be thrown can affect its flight path, you want to release the frisbee in a way that makes you throw the frisbee consistently, so you will have fun.
I carry a frisbee with me since it’s lightweight and easy to carry in a backpack. It’s a great boredom buster. And I can whip it out and play with some friends as long as we are in an open space. And this can be both indoors or outdoors.

What are the best frisbees to play with?
Aerobie outdoor flying disc
This is my number 1 flying disc of choice. Slides right into the backpack and can easily be carried for outdoor days. It’s easy to throw, so if you’re up for having an easy toss, you can still be fully clothed and just do some gentle throws.
If you want to do something more challenging, this disc also allows for novice throwers to send this flying disc over long distances.
It’s inexpensive. It shouldn’t cost you more than $20.
But if you buy it once, you should be able to keep it for years.

Discraft Ultrastar
This frisbee is considered the gold standard of all frisbees. It’s the one that the Ultimate Frisbee players use when they are playing. (They generally opt for white frisbees as it is easier for them to see.)

Frisbee by Wham-O
This frisbee is another fun one to invest in, although it isn’t as revered as the Discraft. You will still be able to get lots of enjoyment of of this one, but for the money that you are spending, you might as well opt for either of the two above.

Mini GRAVITY DISC
This is another handy one that you can opt for. This is a mini disc that can fit in your pocket. So if you’re going out casually and you want something that you can throw like a tennis ball, but that floats like a frisbee. Then this is one to opt for.

Where are some of the places to throw a frisbee?
The beach.
I like playing with the frisbee at the beach. Especially if you can play with the frisbee in the water. There are some things that you do need to account for though.
The wind.
If it is too windy, the frisbee will get taken away with the wind. So it won’t be fun after you keep on chasing the frisbee as it flies away from you.
The frisbee sinking or getting lost in the water.
I haven’t lost it (permanently) yet, but there have been a few close calls. The frisbee that I’ve been using is great to throw, but once it hits the water, it sinks. If there are too many waves, it can get buried in the sand and even washed out to sea.
An open oval or field.
This is great because you will have running space to play. You should be able to challenge yourself by throwing the frisbee over long distances.
An indoor sports arena.
Something like an indoor basketball court will suffice. Although you will have more restriction when it comes to space and speed. But you will be able to play regardless of the weather.
