Hotel Review: Royal Panerai Hotel Chiang Mai

January 15, 2016 by David James Leave a Comment

Chiang Mai is an incredible place to visit in Thailand. There are several cheap accommodation places to stay in Chiang Mai for singles, but if you are travelling as a couple and you want your own private space, then staying at the Royal Panerai Hotel in Chiang Mai is one of the most affordable hotel options to consider. The hotel is located on the fringe of the old city in Chiang Mai. It is walking distance to the main areas in the old city and you can easily hire a bicycle or scooter from 60 Baht per day.

You can see the hotel’s proximity to the city in the map below.

It is a cheap area to stay in. You can go to the local street markets and purchase street food from 40 Baht per meal.

The hotel is quite spacious. The room is like a studio and has a balcony. There is enough space for you to relax or study, as well as a large bed to relax in. There was a TV, which we rarely used. There is also complimentary Internet and room service. There is also a balcony where you can relax and the bathroom is quite big as well.

If you hire a bike or motorbike to explore, you can leave it securely in the hotel’s garage.

There is also a large lobby where you can work from as well.

We were able to get this place from £10 per night for the junior suite. If you want to stay in a hotel that provides good service, is clean and has hot water, then this is one place in Chiang Mai that you should strongly consider.
